Dear ICEJ Prayer Partners

This week we have an encouraging word from David Parsons ICEJ’s Vice-President and Senior Spokesman reproduced below.

“Whenever we pray, we should be expecting answers. Sometimes it comes in the form of the Lord speaking back to us, or speaking through His word, or causing something to happen in response to our prayers. Other times we have to wait for the answer, and without faith and patience, we can become frustrated with the delay. This is when we start wondering whether He is hearing our prayers at all.

But God most certainly has no trouble hearing, and the problem usually is that we are the ones unable to hear Him. Thus, it is immensely important that the people of God be able to know and hear His voice and respond in obedience.

This became a major issue for Israel in the wilderness. The voice of God thundering from the mountain was too much for them, and even when He spoke through Moses, they often refused to listen. So, Moses said: “The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear…” (Deuteronomy 18:15)

As Christians, we believe this to be a prophetic reference to Jesus the Messiah, and the New Testament affirms as much. For instance, at the Transfiguration, a voice is heard from heaven saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!” (Luke 9:35)

Jesus is clear about this vital point as well, saying: “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27)

Elsewhere, Jesus explains why it is so essential that we, his followers, learn to hear his voice. “Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.” (John 5:25)

The challenge is this, dear saints: If we are not able to hear the Lord’s voice while we are fully alive and awake, how will we hear the voice of His resurrection call when our bodies are laying lifeless in the ground?

By posing this question, it is not meant to spread doubt or fear. Rather, it is presented as a challenge to each one of us, that we earnestly seek to hear His voice better every single day. For by doing so, we can be assured that we will hear His voice on that great day when the dead in Christ will arise to everlasting life.

May the Lord “roar like a lion” in your life (Hosea 11:10).

Blessings from Zion!

Dear friends

The Feasts of the LORD is meant for all sons and daughters of the almighty God to enjoy and to celebrate. These are special appointments given by God to rehearse the first and second coming of His Son, Yeshua. These are the appointed Times where Father God specifically set aside for us to celebrate and be blessed in the process.

This year, ICEJ Singapore Branch together with City Missions Church and other like-minded believers gather together on 8th June 2019 to celebrate this Feast. We invite you to join us in worship, in celebratory dances and also to hear God’s Word declared at this event.

Shalom

Dear friends

Do come to this Sabbath Marketplace Service as we continue with our Part Two on the teaching of the Biblical Messianic Calendar. We believe this will change your understanding on what the enemies of God have been doing to deceive the Elect on the soon Return of Yeshua,

Do bring friends and we know they will be blessed.

Shalom

Dear friends,

We had a great weekend seeing many souls coming into the Kingdom of God and their souls saved for eternity. This harvest of souls was the result from the three days Celebration of Hope (COH) event held at our National Stadium. Hallelujah! The COH was evangelism on a massive scale which activated believers to reach out to non-believers on a national scale. What a joy to see families and individuals giving their lives to Yeshua during these three days events. Now is the time to begin intentional disciplining those new believers in the understanding of the Bible and what it entails to walk in Holiness and in Truth. Our Sabbath Marketplace Service was conceived because of this vision to prepare believers to receive the Return of Yeshua as the King of kings and Lord of lords.

This coming Saturday 25 March 2019, we will resume our Sabbath Marketplace Service with an important sharing on God’s Calendar. The enemy has intentionally corrupted the Times and Seasons to bring about destruction due to lack of understanding. We have been deceived for too long by the enemy’s ploy when he changed and confused God’s Times and Seasons. This three-part sharing on God’s Calendar is critical for our understanding of Biblical prophecies.  Biblical prophecies are derailed because they were not based on God’s Times and Seasons! This three-part sharing is our desire that you will begin to dig deeper into God’s Word to allow the Holy Spirit to reveal fresh insights in the light of our sharing.

I would like to encourage you to bring friends to our Sabbath Marketplace Service and be blessed.

Shalom

Dear friends

We had a great session learning how to interpret the Word of God from the Hebraic perspective using the Menorah as an illustration. For those who could not attend, do download the Powerpoint slides to your own study.

Sabbath Shalom
